BME-HF | Horizontal Falls Highlights ex Broome

For an unforgettable Kimberley adventure, embark on a helicopter flight to the Horizontal Falls, famously described by David Attenborough as ‘Australia’s most unusual natural wonder!’

Your journey begins with a scenic plane ride from Broome Airport to our Derby base, where you’ll transfer to a helicopter for an incredible low-level flight to the Falls. Along the way, our expert pilots will share fascinating commentary as you take in the striking patterns created by the enormous local tides in the mudflats and the breathtaking beauty of the Kimbolton Ranges.

As you approach the Horizontal Falls, you’ll get a bird’s-eye view of the powerful tidal flow, before orbiting slowly over both the 'wide' and 'narrow' gaps for the perfect photo opportunities of the rushing water as it makes its way through to the Inland Sea.

This tour is tide dependent and not available every day.
